Styling The Shearling Jacket Trend

With the temperatures dropping, we've recently fell back in love with faux shearling! It's thee softest material that's just a dream to wear on cold days and it looks so stylish too! Whether you opt for all shearling or just the lapels, we guarantee you cannot do any wrong. Shearling jackets are a popular choice when it comes to adding that extra something to your staple jeans.

New York A/W 2015 Wishlist

It’s still only November but with the cold biting hard, and the wind and rain combining to create a multitude of bleak, dark days, you’ll forgive us for looking forward to Christmas. A time of joy, family, merriment and good feeling, Christmas is the goal we’re all reaching for to offset the doom and gloom of November. What better inspiration for gifts than the A/W 2015 runway collections? This season, we saw summery folk trends transition to winter thanks to hardy textures like suede and shearling coupled with light silks and chiffons; we saw three dimensional knitwear; opulent floral prints and motifs as well dramatic longlines, from elegant turtlenecks to floor-sweeping hems. This season was all about dramatic hues and silhouettes that still aimed to champion the graceful female form above everything. Unfortunately for most us, the ready-to-wear collections pose a serious financial problem, because we don’t have thousands to splash out on the best looks. But what’s the point of a wishlist if you can’t make a few fantastical suggestions? If we could, we’d jet off to New York, one of the world’s fashion capitals, and snap up these three fabulous collections…

In a French girl's handbag : Perfume

Click on the perfume of your choice

Hi dolls ! My name is Sara, I'm the blogger behind The Crime of Fashion. Today, I want to share with a true love of mine : Perfumes. This is a short list of the most popular perfumes in France, perfect gift idea guide if you want to smell like a French girl !

Perfume is the main item in a French woman's beauty routine. Some will not take the time to put on foundation or do their hair but they will spray some beautiful frangrance on their body. I personally have an obsession with perfume. I collect them, keep the bottles and use them as decorative items. But as a French woman, I know that I should find my signature fragrance before the age of 30 and wear it for the next 30 years (so we say).

If you love perfume as well, want something us French women love to put on your Christmas list, here is a selection of the most sold perfumes in the country. I personally own 4 of the ones in the list and didn't buy them because they were a thing, but because they smell incredible. This is a classy selection where women from their 20's to their 40's can find the right smell.

Let me know what do you think about perfume, is it that important in your beauty routine where you are from ? Do you own any of the ones above ? I wish you a lovely day !

How Bloggers Style Chunky Knit Jumpers

We all know a knitted jumper is a must for a/w! Knitwear doesn't have to be frumpy and unfashionable, it can be chic and stylish if you wear it right and choose the right pieces. Turtlenecks are big at the moment and so are neutral colours such as creams, nudes, greys and blacks. Also you can't forget a/w's hottest earthy shades such a camel and khaki green. We love a chunky knit styled with this season's favourite cropped denim jean!
